Dear Reference Site Coordinators

The European Commission has launched a Manifesto to maximise the accessibility of research results in the fight against COVID-19, see attached. This Manifesto provides guiding principles for beneficiaries of EU research grants for coronavirus prevention, testing, treatment and vaccination to ensure that their research results will be accessible for all and guarantee a return on public investment.

The RSCN has endorsed the Manifesto as we believe in the present health emergency everyone should be able to access freely research results which guarantee a return on public investment. 

We would encourage Reference Sites to highlight this initiative with their stakeholder organisations and to also give their support to it. The attached Manifesto includes details on how to complete the online endorsement.
