With reference to the weekly Information sessions on COVID-19, you are invited to attend the next virtual session scheduled to take place on
Thursday, 09 April 2020 from 10:30 to 12:00

The Director-General conveys his appreciation to the Ministers of Health for the interest shown in the sessions, in spite of their busy schedules, and welcomes their continued participation. Kindly note that
there will be no country presentations at this session. The Secretariat will be briefing member states on the COVID-19 Strategy Update and other recent developments.
To help improve on the sound quality and for your message to be conveyed to participants listening in another language, we would be grateful if you could consider the following should you intend to request
for the floor:
o Use an ethernet (land wire) connection, not Wi-Fi
o Use a soundproof and echo-free room
o Use high quality PC or Laptop, not a mobile phone
o Use individual headsets with high quality microphone
o Adjust your speech to the remote distance(speak slower, clearer and avoid excessive use of acronyms)
As per previous virtual meeting, in order to facilitate the question and answer component, may we kindly ask that questions submitted to the WHO Secretariat in advance are sent via the
MSCOVID19@who.int mailbox (by 09:00 CET 09 April 2020) using the subject line “Information session on COVID19 – question from [country name]”.
Please note only questions of a technical nature will be considered and we will endeavor to make this information session as interactive as possible.
