Dear Sopo,
Following our last meeting with Minister Sergeenko (on Friday), please find below the link to the WHO/Euro report “Single vs multiple competing purchasing agencies: analysis of options for the health system in Cyprus”.
It contains a thorough analysis of the options in Cyprus under discussion that time, but also references to other relevant evidence in this area.
It is my understanding the Minister will have to make a presentation in the Parliament in support of the single payer agency very soon. If necessary, we could provide inputs to that presentation. I can get involved personally with statements at any moment and we can also develop a brief WHO position paper on the topic, if needed.
