Subject: Results of the 5th wave of BI study in Georgia

Dear Tamar,

Please find attached the presentation with results of the 5th round of the Behavioral Insight study in relation to COVID19.

It is a bit too long and I know how busy you are…

Just have a look at slides 5 and 6 for a summary, and also at those slides you might be particularly interested in.

The level of population’s knowledge/literacy remains high; at the same time there are some negative tendencies, in comparison with the first 3 waves of the study.

For instance:

Perception of Severity – Decreased - From 30% in April to 23% in May and 21% in September

Perception of susceptibility to virus – Decreased - From 53% in May to 42% in September

Fear – Decreased - from 69% in May to 47% In September;

COVID is Media hyped – Increased - from 21% to 29%

Taking Social distancing – decreased - From 95% in May to 76% in September

Measurements taken by government are exaggerated – from 3.01 (on scale from 1 to 7) to 3.82

Our donors and partners are very much in favor of presenting these results to key institutions and also to media (as we did last time with the first 3 waves).

Please let me know what you think about this and we can agree on the most suitable scenario.

You are the first person (outside the team conducting the study) we are sharing this presentation with.

Thank you and best regards,

Silviu
