Dear First Deputy Minister Gabunia and Deputy Minister Gagua,

I trust that you are doing well.  We thank you for your time last week during our call over the new proposed hospital projects.  We shall be delighted to assist you in the development of these landmark projects in Tbilisi. 

The EIB team will encapsulate the following colleagues;

§  Jatin Seejore, Francesca Rinaldi and Aleksander Bakhtamyan – Front office team

§  Dorothee Eckertz and Enrique Trevino – Technical Team

As agreed we append a list of questions for your perusal and shall be much obliged if you could provide us with some feedback within the next 2 weeks if at all possible as this will enable us to better understand the needs, context and requirements of the projects.  Once we are in receipt of these documents, I shall propose a conference call to further discuss the answers so that we can move forward swiftly. 

The key highlevel indicative milestones are as follows:

§  Project Kick start – 12 June 2020

§  Initial info from Client – End of June

§  Launch Project internally – August 2020

§  Technical Assistance (TA)  prep – October 2020

§  TA procurement – 3 months

§  Commence appraisal – September 2020

§  Appraisal – 3 months (can be more depending on info and travel restrictions)

§  Technical Study as required – Start October and lasts 3 to 6 months (depending of procurement and info)

§  Study review with Client – April 2021

§  Doc preparation – April 2021

§  Doc review – May 2021

§  Contract prep – June 2021

§  Board Approval – September 2021

§  Contract signature – November 2021
