Dear Keti,

As we discussed on the phone, I am attaching the Stata data and do files for HUES.

I will finish filling out the table and will send it to you over the weekend.

Best wishes,

Ira

Dear Keti,

My apologies - I thought I had shared the table with the expenditures by diseases earlier. Please find it attached.

I am also attaching the other table (we did not finish filling it out). As you will see, total health spending per capita based on the detailed formulas is 428.59 compared to 448.6 we estimated in the HUES report. I am attaching the formulas we used in Stata. There were a number of instances where we could spot missing/different indicator labels in the 2017 HUES data and made corresponding changes. Based on the calculations though it appears that other variables are missing from the formulas you shared. Alessia and I have both reviewed the formulas multiple times and could not spot any errors. Perhaps another set of fresh eyes to look at the 2017 questionnaire  and the formulas could help.

I am available for a call anytime. My number is +1-202-640-0141 (Whatsapp). I am in Kyiv this week and flying back to DC on Sunday.

Best wishes,

Ira

Dear Volkan,

Hope this message finds you doing well.

I've learned from Keti (copied here) that the Minister is going to present our survey results on Dec 25th.

Ministry is looking for an opportunity to put the World Bank representative online to address the meeting or alternatively to have a short video with some major findings, highlights.

I understand that 25th of December is a holiday for you, so that it would be good if you can record a short video talking about some major highlights from the survey and pass that video along to me or Keti.

Thanks and all the best, Nino
