Dear Ekaterine,

As discussed, please allow me to send you this draft statement on the Agenda item 12.8 : Global Strategy for Women’s, Children’s and Adolescents’ Health (2016–2030) for the upcoming WHA (FR+ ENG versions attached). 

Our intention is to deliver this as a cross-regional statement, in order to stress the importance of the issue, and our collective will to remain seized on the issue. France would deliver the statement in French on behalf of the group.

So far, we have 18 countries supporting this statement : Australia, Belgium, Canada, Estonia, Finland, France, Iceland, Latvia, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, UK, Uruguay.

We would be very happy to include Georgia as well if this is possible, so please don’t hesitate to get back to me (morgan.jouy@diplomatie.gouv.fr) if you think you are able to join.
