Dear Rusudan,

Many thanks for sharing the concept note reflecting potential areas within the Czech Republic Cooperation framework. The concept note well reflects the ministry’s intention to build e-Health platform for outpatient and PHC services. However, in response to the cabinet resolution on EHR implementation we need to take immediate actions and have the EHR launched this year. The same is true for the citizen’s portal which is technically almost completed and needs further promotion to become operational. Based on the above, I am afraid proposed interventions do not align well with the ministry timeline.

Besides, I would suggest to make the concept note more focused in terms of Geography and priority content areas e.g. strengthening cancer care, improving management of NCDs by rural providers etc. Would be good to demonstrate how IT technologies can improve quality of treatment and care by primary care providers.

Please kindly note that the ministry developed its concept note and submitted to the embassy for consideration this morning. The embassy colleagues may help to coordinate and synergize all ideas to make sure that the concept note is finalized by the end of June.
