Dear all,
The email below is the follow-up after my meeting with Prodacapo staff yesterday in Helsinki.
We went through the definition tables which were provided by Martti and they seem to be appropriate for producing the
grouper.
As Jussi said in his email, you may consider having Georgian ICD10 and NCSP names in the grouper. There can be some problems
due to the different alphabet and integrating it into grouper may cause some additional work but it can be clarified only when testing it.
If you decide to use Georgian ICD10 and NCSP names you have to provide Prodacapo with respective tables.
To facilitate your work, I took the files with ICD10 and NCSP codes which are used in definition tables because those
are checked by Martti and should be correct.
What you have to do is to link Georgian names to NCSP and ICD10 codes and deliver the files to Prodacapo. This should
be done asap because they cannot proceed with producing the grouper software without the tables (unless you decide to have only English names).
The other thing you need to work with is to start to translate the DRG names into Georgian. Even if the software does
not accept your alphabet for some reasons, for your internal use you need them anyway. The file with English names is attached.
As for test data Jussi is asking to provide you perhaps should clarify with him in which format the file has to be. Once
you know that, you can use the dataset we used last year for data quality evaluation and grouping in order to extract suitable number of rows for test data.
Please let us know if there is any question.
Thanks,
Kristiina

Subject: RE: DGR definition tables
Hello!
Now descriptive texts for diagnoses and procedure in the tables are in English.
Is that OK for you? Those texts will be used in VisualDRG only as helper texts when entering diagnosis and procedure codes and do not affect anyhow
actual grouping results.
If you wish to have diagnosis and procedures in VisualDRG in Georgian language, we need those texts in files (Excel with code and texts in separate
columns). Those may require extra work from us (Cyrillic alphabet) but we do not know before we test those.
Also, could You provide a test data file to be used for our testing and to be included as a demo data file in VisualDRG setup kit.
Best regards,
Jussi
