Hello,
Some DRG topics.
1)
What would be a good copyright text for DRG logic to be displayed in VisualDRG and batch grouper? Is the following ok:
“Georgian version of NordDRG. Copyright (c) 2018 MINISTRY OF IDP, LABOR, HEALTH AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS, GEORGIA.”
2)
Attached ICD-10 and NCSP hierarchy, to be translated in Georgian (green area, ‘-‘ means that we didn’t have English text when this was created, those can be left
as – or you can insert a Georgian text. Keeping this file format unchanged, to be included in VisualDRG’s Find (ICD or NCSP code) function. Then, return it to me. This is not part of DRG definition tables, these do not affect anyhow grouping results.
3)
Do you have any questions or change requests to the revised contract proposal in mail 20181101?
4)
We will have a new table set from Martti, including the missing ICD codes. If there will be future such changes we include one new grouper version (based on a
new tables) annually included in our license and services. Normally there is one annual update also for the other Nordic NordDRG versions, because of logic changes or fixes or yearly changes in ICD or NCSP codes.
5)
Did you ask if Martti knows about using Latvian DRG weights as default now for Georgian version, because the logic builds on LAT version and You do not yet have
other weights? I have asked our Latvian customers (Ministry via our local re-seller there, Meditec Inc.) if they could confirm permission to copy Latvian weights but have not got an answer yet. I also didn’t find the Latvian weight table from Latvian ministry’s
Web site.
Best regards,
Jussi

Subject: VS: Unknown diagnose codes in Georgian test data set and RTC=7 error cases
Dear Jussi and Ketevan
Most of the codes where either not marked as active or not included in the table of ICD-10 codes sent from Georgia.
Some existing codes may have errors in the data – maternal codes (O-codes) are not accepted for neonates and neonatal codes are not accepted for mother (or other adults)
My comments are below in the table marked with
red
There are a number of inactive codes that might be in use.
I attach a list of these codes. When you have checked these codes, please send me a list of eventual corrections so that I can make a corrected version of the definition tables.
Greetings
Martti

Aihe: Unknown diagnose codes in Georgian test data set and RTC=7 error cases
Hello!
As agreed on yesterday, attached a listing of diagnosis codes that didn’t group correctly when tested in VisualDRG, and cases where dg+pr combination was considered wrong or rare.
Part of errors (below) are symptom codes w/o etiology and postfixed w. *. You chould put these in data file without * character and include etiology and symptom in DG1A and DG1D fields separately, w/o special characters.
Technically grouper groups those codes w/o etiology if you remove just * character but returns diagnosis status error: “Symptom w/o etiology”.
Some few cases were too old or young O800 (delivery), that are not erroneous codes as such but data entry or other data errors.
I cannot say if these others are wrong in data or missing in grouping definitions.
Erroneus codes (causing RTC=1 were):
rtc1 code A099 NOT in icdcodes
Not marked as primary code (in the table sent form Georgia), thus inactive. I activate it now.
