Please share it with DRG WG and proceed accordingly.

 

1)      DRG WG will make a decision if inpatient vertical programs will be covered with the DRG grouping – end of February

2)      Draft a job descriptions for the SSA staff becoming responsible for DRG implementation (by March 8th)

3)      Draft a roadmap for the pilot (by March 8th)

o   Roadmap can follow the outline of the implementation plan but its primary focus is to use it for the communication with piloting hospitals and to agree joint work-plan with them.

4)      DRG WG will have meeting with the piloting hospitals to discuss DRG grouper instalment related issues and joint workplan in March

 

I would also kindly ask you to contact Nino Tsetskhladze from NCDC and ask her to send you following information which you can share with us:

o   the data quality validation rules which are applied at the moment within NCDC - asap

o   ICD10 user manual in Georgian which was presented in the workshop on 20th February - asap

o   NCSP related training materials - asap

 

Meanwhile we will work on:

o   Draft methodological guideline to analyze DRG related data quality and will share with DRG WG for the comments (week 10)

o   Draft coding guideline for using ICD-10 and NCSP and will  share with DRG WG for comments (by the end of March)

 

Indicative date for the next mission 15-17 May, please confirm, if it is ok.

Indicative TC to discuss DRG implementation related issues is planned on second half of March (the exact date to be confirmed).

 

If there is any question, please get back to us. Please also let us know when the grouper is delivered.
