Dear Mariana,
Here are the sum-up of the next steps what we were talking about during the mission:
· Communication with the NCC and Prodacapo will continue in order to complete the legal and technical issues and sign the agreements with the NCC and Prodacapo.
· The DRG implementation plan will be revised right after the agreements with the NCC and Prodacapo will be achieved. For revision, a Skype meeting will be arranged before the next mission.
· WHO will explore options to finance DRG study visit to Helsinki and Tallinn and in parallel MOLHSA will find out Martti Virtanen’s availability which would enable to agree exact timing of the visit with other parties.
· Activities related to the clinical coding audit methodology tailored for Georgia and technical requirements for audit program/software will continue. Nevertheless, as the priority is to get to grouper from the Prodacapo and agreement signed with the NCC, the activities related to the coding audit will be postponed.
· Preparation of the timeline and content of the analytical work (study protocol) related to the DRG cost weights and reimbursement policy will start. WHO will provide guidance for the DRG WG how to proceed with development of the study protocol.
· MOLHSA will discuss and agree who will be the new chairman of the DRG WG and will inform WHO.
We also suggested that time of the next mission could be during the week 49 (5-7 of December 2018). Hopefully it works for you.
Please keep up updated your progress with NCC and Prodacapo, because this is now really crucial, as some of the next steps depend on this.
If there is something you (DRG WG) need to clarify or comment, please let us know.
Thanks and enjoy your well-deserved weekend,
Kristiina

Dear Triin,
Please find attached the revised agenda, as agreed over the phone DRG WG members prefer to discuss the training related issues on Monday. They also stated that they would prefer if the presentations will be made by you and Kristiina, I guess this kind of issues will be discussed on Monday with the Deputy Minister Maia Lagvilava and others.
As for the training participants, we have highlighted the names of the Hospitals in the Xcel file. 6 hospitals have been selected for the pilot. (one of the hospitals was missing in the list which we have added accordingly)
There will be roughly 25 people attending the training, High level management of these 6 piloting hospitals and high-level management from the large hospital networks.
Looking forward to see you in Tbilisi.
With Best,
Mariana

Dear Mariana,
thank you! Please find attached our comments to the mission agenda and proposal for the draft agenda for the seminar on Tuesday (last page of the doc-file). Please review/amend the seminar's agenda and add presenters from your side.
Also, it would be important to give feedback to these piloting hospitals about their DRG grouping results (what we did last year). It would be best if somebody from the MOLHSA or SSA will do that part of the presentation but we'd be glad to assist you during preparations. In order to do that, we need your help to identify the piloting hospitals names in the attached xls-fail.
Please let us know if there is anything we should discuss at this point!
With best,
Triin

Dear Triin, Dear All,
Hope you are well, sorry for the inconvenience made and for the late and short notice.
Please find the attached draft agenda for your consideration and confirmation.
The training for the piloting hospitals is confirmed. Tomorrow Department of Health Care will provide a full list of the training participants. (I will add the list of participants in the agenda later on).
Ministry would very much appreciate the help of WHO Country Office team in order to help us to organize and arrange the administrative and logistical issues for the training in such a short time.
Please be informed that the Minister will not be in Tbilisi on 11 and 12th of September so he asked me to arrange the meeting with you on a first day - September 10th at 16:30-17:30.
Will wait for your kind confirmation and help.
With best,
Mariana

Dear Mariana,
please find attached scope and purpose for the next DRG mission in September 10-12.
Our recommendation is to consider to have a one-day seminar with piloting hospitals as this would give possibility to provide a basic training about DRGs, introduce DRG transition plan and to show DRG data what we have from 1st quarter of 2017. Even though there is some uncertainty exactly when (but it is almost certain that it will be) DRG grouper will be installed into the SSA's system, it would give possibility to start training them to assure that they are well prepared when actual activities start.
Please let us know if you have any questions or you'd like to discuss.
With best,
Triin
