Dear All,
We are pleased to share with you the invitation, received by topic editors of the journal “Frontiers in Genetics”, to contribute an original research, review or opinion article to a new research topic
in the journal “Frontiers in Genetics” (section “genetics of aging”, IF=3.5), entitled “Clinical Evaluation Criteria for Aging and Aging-related Multimorbidity” (arguably a central issue in Lifespan Health Promotion & Prevention of Age Related Frailty and
Disease).
The goal of this collection is to encourage the consultation on and eventually the regulatory adoption of some key (consensus-building) clinical evaluation criteria for aging and aging-related multimorbidity.
Such evaluation criteria can be considered a necessary condition for the medical industry to develop and test aging-ameliorating therapies. Thus the goal of this collection is to raise the discussion of this topic, eventually to contribute to the wide practical
recognition of aging as a treatable or intervenable medical condition by the regulators and thus boost the aging-ameliorating R&D and application. Here is a full
description of the research topic.
You are welcome to spread the word and involve additional experts.
Best Regards,
Maddalena Illario
