We are pleased to share with you the invitation, received by topic editors of the journal “Frontiers in Genetics”, to contribute an original research, review or opinion article to a new research topic in the journal “Frontiers in Genetics” (section “genetics of aging”, IF=3.5), entitled “Clinical Evaluation Criteria for Aging and Aging-related Multimorbidity” (arguably a central issue in Lifespan Health Promotion & Prevention of Age Related Frailty and Disease).

The goal of this collection is to encourage the consultation on and eventually the regulatory adoption of some key (consensus-building) clinical evaluation criteria for aging and aging-related multimorbidity. Such evaluation criteria can be considered a necessary condition for the medical industry to develop and test aging-ameliorating therapies. Thus the goal of this collection is to raise the discussion of this topic, eventually to contribute to the wide practical recognition of aging as a treatable or intervenable medical condition by the regulators and thus boost the aging-ameliorating R&D and application.
