Received On : 25.05.2020 12:46

Dear all, The COVID-19 crisis is impacting every form of government action, including policies and processes around public financial management (PFM). A new blog, co-produced by WHO and World Bank staff, explores common PFM lessons learned from the health response to COVID-19 and provides new perspectives on developing a coordinated PFM reform agenda in health as countries begin to recover from the crisis. The blog post is available on the Providing for Health (P4) web portal: https://p4h.world/en/who-wb-no-calm-after-the-storm-time-to-retool-country-pfm-systems-in-health-sector We look forward to working with all of you to further define and implement PFM improvements in the health sector, Helene Barroy (on behalf of the co-authors) WHO Health Financing ------ Previous contributions from WHO and World Bank on PFM and COVID-19 are available below: • How to budget for COVID-19? https://p4h.world/index.php/en/node/8821 • COVID-19 and budgetary space for health: https://www.cgdev.org/blog/covid-19-crisis-and-budgetary-space-health-developing-countries • Getting government financial management systems COVID-19 ready: https://blogs.worldbank.org/governance/getting-government-financial-management-systems-covid-19-ready • Advancing accountability for special emergency funds to address COVID-19: https://blogs.worldbank.org/governance/advancing-accountability-special-emergency-funds-address-covid-19 __________ You are receiving this message because you're a member of the community WHO Health Financing Technical Network (HFTN Main Community).
