Dear Eka and Ivane -
Please find attached our Vaccine Marketplace update, which I’m sharing with you on a more restricted basis given confidential nature of some of the information. Some highlights:
In late January, a news article broke showing the then calendar of approvals for the WHO. In that list the WHO had slated J&J for May/June. Note J&J submitted their application to the WHO a couple of weeks ago. It is unclear, given the
approval in the USA, if that timetable will be advanced.
In terms of vaccinations; more than 218 million doses
(Last week: 186 million) have been administered across 99 countries (Last week: 82 countries), according to data collected by Bloomberg. The latest rate was roughly 6.14 million doses a day (Last week: 6.34 million doses a day) .
