ეს გახლავთ, რაზეც დღეს ვისაუბრეთ, წერილის დრაფტი ინდოეთის სერუმის ინსტიტუტის CEOოზე, რომელიც არის ამ ჯგუფის დამფუძნებლის შვილი, ნოვოვაქსის დარეზერვება-მოწოდებაზე გვიანი გაზაფხული-ზაფხულისთვის.
სასურველია მას მიეცეს შესაბამისი ფორმა და ხვალ გაეგზავნოს პირდაპირ და საელჩოს საშუალებით მინისტრის ხელმოწერით. ასევე ძალიან მნიშვნელოვანი იქნება პროცესის შემდგომი მონიტორინგი საელჩოსა და სამინისტროს მიერ. ამ ვაქცინაზე უკვე სერიოზული კონკურენციაა.
უკრაინას მისცა სერუმმა 500 000 დოზა პირდაპირ და ამიტომ მაინც ვფიქრობ რომ პოლიტიკურ დონეზე მეტი აქტივობა გვჭირდება მათთან. როგორც გაცნობეთ უკრაინის მინისტრი სტუმრობდა მათ 18 თებერვლიდან.
გადასაწყვეტია ინდოეთსა და კორეაში მაღალი თანამდებობის პირების ვიზიტების მიზანშეწონილობა.
ასევე მოგეხსენებათ ჯონსონ და ჯონსონის ერთდოზიან ვაქცინას ამ დღეებში FDA უნთებს მწვანე შუქს, ამიტომ ანალოგიური აქტივობები საჭირო იქნება მასთან მიმართებებში.

On behalf of the Ministry of Internally Displaced Persons from the Occupied Territories, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia, I hereby extend my compliments and appreciation to the Cyrus Poonawalla Group and particularly, Serum Institute of India (SII). I welcome decision to expand our cooperation and having an agreement to supply Georgia with 150,000 dozes Corona virus vaccine Covishield from the SII.
In the interim, we are aware that Serum Institute of India has manufacturing agreement with Novavax, Inc for the development and commercialization of COVID-19 vaccine candidate Novavax in low- and middle-income countries.
Georgia is part of COVAX-platform which guarantees 1,4 mln doses of two-dose-shot vaccine, sufficient to cover 20% of the country’s population (700,000 people). However, according National Deployment and Vaccination Plan, country’s goal for 2021 is to immunize at least 60% of adult population, that means to supply additional 1,0 mln people. At this very special and challenging time of global epidemic, we are hoping to expand our collaboration with your company - the Serum Institute of India. We want to negotiate possibility for Georgia to reserve and later supply with Novavax vaccine for at least, one mln Georgian population. That gives us chance to increase coverage of population above the COVAX-guaranteed 20%. In case of your interest, we are ready to discuss all necessary requirements and go over formalities. We are ready to communicate with you in any convenient format for you – to meet personally or remotely in a virtual space.
We hope that you find our proposal mutually interesting. We strongly believe that it will be possible to expand already established partnership and to start-up a new phase of collaboration with the Serum Institute of India. In future we hope to increase vaccine supply from the SII for other vaccines as well.
