Subject: FW: Trip for IPC capacity assessment in fever clinis
Dear Tamar,
I would like to follow up on your conversation with Silviu Domente regarding the planned evaluation and risk assessment of IPC capacities at Fever-COVID clinics. These activities are a part of the joint effort of the European Union and WHO Regional Office for Europe to support the solidarity health initiative addressing COVID-19 pandemic and kindly ask you to assign your staff members to the following site visits in six fever/COVID health care facilities:
13 July – Tbilisi - Kutaisi (evaluate 1. Kutaisi referral “Evex” hospital), overnight in Anaklia
14 July – Kutaisi- Senaki (evaluate 2. Senaki “Archimende” clinic ), overnight in Anaklia
15 July – Senaki- Zugdidi (evaluate 3. Zugdidi IDH and 4. Rukhi central university clinic), overnight in Anaklia
16 July- Zugdidi -Poti (evaluate 5. Poti referral “Evex” hospital) overnight in Batumi
17 July- Batumi (evaluate 6. Batumi republic Hospital) – return to Tbilisi
The purpose of site visits will be to conduct evaluation and risk assessment of IPC capacities and provide rapid on-site training/advice to the health care personnel based on assessment results. Based on identified gaps a risk mitigation strategy will be included in the assessment report.
All travel related expenses will be covered by WHO CO.
Should you have any questions, please let me know.
Best regards,
Tamuna
