Dear Regional and country office JTH teams,
World Hepatitis Day will be held this year, as previous years, on 28th July. The EURO flagship publication will be the
Compendium of good practices in the health sector response to viral hepatitis in the WHO European Region which will be launched during
a webinar organized by the Regional Office on Monday 27 July at 11:00 CET (with simultaneous Russian interpretation) exploring some of the great case studies in the Compendium. To join the webinar please share information with your team and counterparts
and suggest them to visit the
registration webpage.
Early next week, we will send you the 2020 presentation in English and Russian, which you can adapt to your setting. The WHO/Europe fact sheets on
hepatitis B and
hepatitis C, and various country stories which will be appearing on the
WHO/Europe website.
The social media campaign under the hashtag
#HepFreeFuture will be active as of 24 July, using a variety of products available in English, Russian and selected other languages on the campaign platform

The headquarters will be holding an online summit on Tuesday 28 July, and
campaign materials (including in Russian) are available. More advocacy and communication tools can be found on the World Hepatitis Alliance
web page.
