We are looking forward to welcoming you to the COVAX Facility ‘Principles of Participation’ consultation taking place on Tuesday 11th of August 2020. Ahead of the consultation, please find attached the ‘Principles of Participation’, which presents a proposal for how the Facility could work. In a number of areas, the document includes different options for us to consider together on how best to design the Facility. Also attached a pre-read for tomorrow’s consultation and a backgrounder summarizing our previous discussions. We are looking forward to having the opportunity during the upcoming consultation to explore these options with you towards the co-creation of the final Facility design. Also, we will be very happy to have the opportunity to clarify any questions you may have on the ‘Principles of Participation’ or the Facility.  

Following the consultation, we will follow-up with an individual commitment agreement as soon as possible. We will also provide translated versions of the ‘Principles of Participation’ and commitment agreement in Arabic, French, Portuguese, Russian and Spanish next week. Please note that the English version would be the legally binding one.

Please feel free to submit any questions you may have in advance of the consultation event, using this survey link. Note that this link will continue to be active following the event and we would encourage you to use this as the best way to receive rapid answers to any questions you may have on either the ‘Principles of Participation’ or the forthcoming commitment agreement.
