As you may know, ADB is processing emergency budget support for Georgia to help mitigate the economic shock from Covid crisis (this is separate from grant financing that we have already approved
for the procurement of emergency medical supplies).
For the purpose of budget support we urgently require the following information on Georgia’s healthcare sector:
- Data
- Number of intensive/critical care beds per 100.000

Number of ventilators

Availability of PPE supplies (possibly from WHO/UNICEF)

Testing capacity
-
Number of isolation/quarantine facilities

Sex-disaggregated data on health workforce (Number of
specialist doctors and generalist practitioners per 10,000 population; Number of Nurses per 10,000)
- COVID-19 country preparedness and response plan or equivalent document that describes response activities in the healthcare sector.
We will appreciate if you could kindly provide this information as soon as possible.
