Dear Tamar,

I am glad to hear that the proposed dates work for you too! I will work on drafting a list of institutions/people to meet during our visit, and share it with you for your feedback. FYI, I just drafted a Mission Announcement Letter (MAL) and sent it to the World Bank country office. I think the official MAL will be sent to the Ministry today or tomorrow.

I am copying my colleagues who will work on this task with me to keep them in the loop as well.

Looking forward to a productive visit to Tbilisi!

Best,

Volkan

Dear Volcan

Many thanks! We would be happy to host the mission in the week of November 18th to discuss TA needs and the possibilities within the ongoing trust fund supported interventions. I would be happy to follow on with you on the agenda.

With kind regards.

Subject: Georgia technical assistance

Dear Tamar,

I hope this email finds you well!

As I mentioned in our previous conversation, we have a trust fund to implement technical assistance activities in the South Caucasus countries (Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia). The activities cover strategic purchasing, public financial management, selective contracting etc. Depending on country needs, we can make changes to the proposed activities as well.

Since our team will be in Moldova next week, I am wondering if we can organize a mission to Tbilisi  following week (the week of November 18) to start working on these topics. Please let me know whether the week of November 18 would be suitable for you.

Best regards,

Volkan
