Dear Tamar,

Thank you very much for your advice.

The Secretariat is ready to assume the role of the operational support  to PAAC .

As for modifying the mechanism for PAAC technical assistance, we have rewritten the assumption column which looks as given below:

“To continue provision of  support to PAAC with its expanded role, in support of  transition process,  long or short term Technical Assistant(s) to be recruited  based  on needs; estimated fee  for the consultant is approximately 125$ per consultancy day. Approximate sum of this budget line is 15,125$”

On a different note, we would like to inform you that our FPM, Tatyana Vinichenko and David Kokiashvili plan to be in Tbilisi on May 3-7 (working days May 4-6).

They aligned their travel with the start of the HIV evaluation mission.

The dates for evaluation are 4-15 May, 2020.

Respectfully,

Natia

Dear Natia

Many thanks for sharing. The budget looks good to me. I am thinking about modifying the mechanism for PAAC technical assistance. Instead of having one TA person assigned to PAAC we may need to mobilize more specific TA based on the needs. We would need to have a mechanism for recruiting short term advisors as needed. As for the secretarial support to PAAC- I would kindly ask the CCM secretariat to assume this role, as workload for inviting PAAC meetings and writing minutes is quite low.

With kind regards

Tamar

Dear Tamar,

Please see attached draft CCM budget (period: March 2020 – February 2021) drafted by the Secretariat for your review and comments ( the total annual amount fixed by the GF is USD 70,000).

The Face-sheet of the agreement is also attached (the signing of the of agreement face-sheet is required after the budget is finalized).

By February 21, we are requested to submit the budget, agreed and endorsed by all CCM.

After your revision we will follow the established procedures (communication with the Chairperson and all CCM).

In addition, before 15 March we are requested to submit: Expenditure Report Year 3; Performance Evaluation Year 3 (including CCM Secretariat evaluation).
