Dear Juan

Many thanks for your e-mail. Glad to know that you attended the Caspian Policy Center meeting yesterday. We are now working on finalizing new requirements for incoming travelers. I will share details once I have the final draft ready. We are discussing a self-isolation option for diplomats and their families given that adequate self-isolation premises and supervision will be provided by diplomatic missions. I will also inform you once this is approved by the cabinet.

With kind regards

Tamar

Subject: Question on Foreign Arrivals to Georgia

Hello Dr. Gabunia,

It was great hearing your presentation to the Caspian Policy Center yesterday!

As you know, we're closely following the lifting of restrictions and we had a question about the plan to allow foreign travelers to enter Georgia on July 1.  We understand that at first only travelers from "safe countries" will be allowed in, but do you have any information about whether they will require 'health certificates' or a quarantine time prior to their arrival in Georgia?

Separately, for your awareness, we have also asked the MFA about quarantine requirements for incoming diplomats and their families.

Thank you!

Best,
