thank you for your quick response. Probably I should mention here that Czech Development Cooperation is active donor in Health Care in Georgia from 2009. Specifically development of IT systems in Primary Health Care is our priority from 2016 and both mentioned needs would be elegantly integrated into a new project focused on utilisation of digital technologies in Primary Health Care in Georgia. Consequently, we have accelerated consultations both needs with the Ministry and NCDC already. Thus, we have drafts of the 1st versions of ToR in cooperation with NCDC and our implementing partner Caritas CR.

I would like invite all of you to participate on online presentation and consultation at ZOOM or Microsoft Teams next week. Would be great to share more details and plans of each partner. We will manage technically everything on Monday.

As everybody knows, time is very important commodity nowadays and therefore we would like to speed up final stage of preparation the contract.

Thank you very much for contacting us with regard to the needs of the Ministry of Health (outlined below), that was disseminated by the Administration of the Government of Georgia (AoG) among the donor organizations at the end of the previous week:

• Building information system for effective COVID 19 surveillance, data management and contact tracing systems. (These systems can be built on existing e-government structures).
• Strengthening first-point-of contact strategy for possible COVID-19 cases: The main options for first contact strategy include a centralized hotline, an online platform, and physical locations in specially established temporary centres or primary care facilities. Assistance is needed to build capacity of primary care providers, develop call centers which have clear algorithms and visual aids to triage calls and indicate the appropriate patient pathway.

As it was rightly mentioned, we are also in the process of obtaining detailed information on the scope and budget of the mentioned interventions via working with all relevant entities, including AoG, the Ministry of Health and the National Center of Disease Control (NCDC). The latter was further nominated to coordinate the given process.

Hence, we will be pleased to further explore possibilities of our partnership, as the actual scope of the required support would most probably necessitate engagement of number of stakeholders. Thus, we will be getting in touch with Ms. Magda Metreveli (copied hereby) on follow-up steps.
