Dear Tamar,

Happy new year! I hope this email finds you well!

We have found a consultant, Navneed Kumar Jain,  who can support the Ministry’s efforts on costing study and unified tariff setting. He has worked with a few World Bank teams including Kyrgyzstan, Kenya, and India. Attached includes his detailed profile.  Ira and I had a brief call with him a couple days ago, he is available and interested in working with us in Georgia.

As a next steps, we agreed on organizing another call with the colleagues in the Ministry who are working on this task. Could you please help us connecting with the colleagues in the ministry to organize a call to discuss technical details? Navneet sent a list of questions below to understand more about the work. It would be very useful if the technical colleagues provide answers to his questions.

Best,

Volkan

Dear Iryna and Volkan

Thanks a lot for the meeting. As discussed, please find attached herewith my profile.

Just have few queries

  1. When the project is likely to start
  2. The costing study will be conducted in how many health care facilities
  3. How many persons from Georgia will be involved in costing exercise. Normally, Costing exercise needs the involvement of Data collectors/persons having knowledge of healthcare/public health specialists/costing or accounting professionals with good knowledge of excel.
  4. No of  procedures for which costing study will be undertaken
  5. Whether any costing study is already under progress
  6. What is the scope of work.
  7. What is the approximate time period within which the study is estimated to be completed

Regards

Navneet Kumar Jain
