Subject: Invitation to the Reporting on Immunization workshop
Dear Tamar,
On behalf of the Sabin Vaccine Institute, I am pleased to invite you to the Reporting on Immunization workshop that will be held on 12-14 March 2020 at the Tbilisi Marriott Hotel in Tbilisi. This workshop will provide 30 journalists and media professionals from Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia and Moldova with a comprehensive, evidence-based understanding of vaccines and immunization programs and policies in recognition of the critical role they play in shaping public perceptions of vaccines and demand for vaccines.
The workshop has been designed in partnership with the Thomson Reuters Foundation with the financial support of Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance. You can find more details in the attached formal invitation letter and the workshop overview document.
We would be very grateful if you could welcome and make opening remarks to the workshop participants.
In addition, the management of Sabin vaccine institute, Emy Finan, the CEO, and Tara Hayward, the Vice-president who are visiting Georgia for the workshop would like to meet you to discuss Sabin's plans and opportunities for further collaboration. We would be grateful if you could find some time on March 11 for the meeting.
We are looking forward to hearing from you.
Best wishes,
Eka
