Dear Sir/Madam,

You are invited to a “Dialogue with NEAR countries” (candidate countries and neighbourhood countries) on the public health aspects of the current COVID-19 outbreak. The audio meeting will take place on Tuesday, 17 March, 14:00 – 15:30, organized by the European Commission, with the participation of WHO/Europe and the European Centre for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC).

Please be aware that this is a meeting at operational level to discuss the public health aspects of the preparedness and response to the current COVID-2019 outbreak with experts in charge in the respective countries to decide on measures to be taken to protect the health of the population. The teleconference aims to exchange information on the epidemiological situation and measures in place, and we would welcome your participation and contribution on the issues of preparedness and response in your respective country.

EU Delegations are invited to this meeting for information related to the public health measures taken in the respective country to respond to the outbreak.

Please note that questions related to financial support or support for equipment will  not be addressed during this meeting.
