Dear Tamar,

You can find attached “Key considerations for repatriation and quarantine of travelers in relation to the outbreak of novel coronavirus 2019-nCoV”

The document is also available on line:

https://www.who.int/ith/Repatriation_Quarantine_nCoV-key-considerations_HQ-final11Feb.pdf?ua=1

These considerations were developed mainly for those countries who decided to repatriate their citizens from China, but are definitely valuable for repatriation from other risk regions.

Let me know if anything else is needed related to this issue.

Best regards,

Silviu

Dear Silviu

I am writing to ask for your advice on IC requirements for aircrafts used for transportation of people from high risk regions. We are planning to bring around 200 Georgian citizens from Italy with charter flights. Could you please kindly indicate if WHO has special guidance for similar circumstances. For instance what should be the distance between travelers, how to place them on the airplane, what protection is needed for the crew members, etc.

Many thanks!
Tamar
