Thank you very much Dear Dr Silviu for your email and good information regarding the support from WHO/USAID.

We have discussed internally the list of materials, which are very important to strengthen our laboratory capacity and will be very happy to be a recipient.

Thanks and with best regards,

Amiran

Subject: Laboratory supplies

Dear Dr Amiran,

Please find attached the list of laboratory supplies, we are ready to procure, using the USAID funds provided to WHO for COVID-19 response related activities.

It was developed by our team, including the WHO lab consultant, who interacted closely with your lab experts in identifying the stringent needs.

Please confirm you are fine with the suggested list and we’ll place immediately this request under the global procurement through WHO Headquarters.

Feel free to make also any changes in the list, taking into consideration that the final sum should not exceed 350,000 US$.

Subject to the decision of the Ministry, small part of these supplies could also be potentially provided to the designated laboratory in Abkhazia, through UN humanitarian channels.

Looking forward to your answer,

With best regards,

Silviu
