Dear Silviu,

 

I hope you are keeping fine. I am delighted to inform you that the WHO European Office for the Prevention and Control of NCDs will be organizing a training course for public health stakeholders and professionals working in the field of childhood obesity in the Eastern countries of the WHO European Region.

 

The aim is to raise awareness among and support the participants to fully understand the health, social, psychological and economic impacts of childhood obesity. The training course will aim to share knowledge and international experiences to improve and reinforce current organization structure and practices for preventive interventions and medical approaches for treatment.

 

This  training course which focus on childhood obesity in Eastern Europe countries will be held on 18-20 March 2020 in Albena, Bulgaria. The working language will be English and Russian, and simultaneous interpretation will be provided.

 

Based on the previous interactions we would like to propose the following experts from Georgia to join the training course:

 

 

If you agree with these proposals we would make arrangements to confirm their participation or otherwise please suggest two experts to attend this training course and let us know whether an nomination request letter is needed although we would like to keep the meeting at expert levels hence we have identified these 2 experts as potential temporary advisers.
