Dear Sir, Madam,
In preparation for the upcoming EB146 session, we would like to invite you to a
briefing meeting with European Member States on Sunday, 2 February 2020 from 15:00 to 17:00 at WHO Headquarters, in Salle C.
The meeting will provide an opportunity to meet with the Regional Director ad interim and the Regional Director Nominee of the WHO Regional Office for Europe, and to receive information on recent developments and
background for the EB agenda items.
In addition, the EURO Secretariat will arrange
daily EB146 briefing meetings starting with Tuesday 4 February, from 0830 to 0850, in Salle C, which will serve as information and intelligence sharing for the EB sessions.
The working language of the briefing meetings is English.
Please let us take the opportunity and provide you with a preliminary information on a side event during the EB: on
Wednesday, 5 February 2020, during the lunch break, WHO/Europe will arrange a
presentation of WHO`s work and results in Lithuania .
The briefing is co-organized by the Ministry of Health of Lithuania and the WHO Country Office in Lithuania. Please save the date in your calendar and further information with more details will follow.
