Dear Mirela&Vanya and Colleagues,

I have started working on bills on organ transplantation and tissue use, and in my turn, as a nomotechnic expert, I am working on  legal technique of bills, draft law structure, terminology and other legal issues. I am cooperating with Natia in this process.

I would also like to point out that the issue of translating documents is really problematic. We will need translating of  the changes  in  English versions in Georgian language, as well as translating of the Georgian changes  in the English version. In addition, these bills will require changes in other laws in Georgia, which will also be translated. I think this issue needs to be resolved.

With regards,

Achi

Dear all,

Thank you for today's constructive meeting.
Here are in brief main conclusions (and challenges):
-major challenge currently is translation of the deliverables into Georgian (beneficiary and contracted local experts are not satisfied with existing translation, there is also an issue of professional English terms that don't exist in Gorgian and need to be "invented")
-dr. Chkheidze and  project's contracted experts will continue working on revision and improvement of translation while Ministry will organise small group of  field experts (1-2 per field) proficient in English to support them
-expected time for finishing translation is end of the June
-priority is to obtain the position of the beneficiary (Ministry) on delivered drafts to enable project experts to finalise laws and proceed with the part of work directly linked with the Gorgian strategic goal(s)
-Ministry will provide the project experts with a list  of professionals (profiles) to be involved in consultation process throughout the documents (by-laws, training materials...) drafting

-next meeting scheduled for 25 th June 14:00 Gorgian time (12:00 CET)

Please feel free to revise this summary and amend if  there is something relevant we missed to conclude

Best Regards,
Mirela&Vanja
