The information collected will be used by UNDP to improve the strategic planning, monitoring and reporting process, also for planning capacity development activities linked to rural development in Georgia. Rural development is a process that delivers improvements in the quality of life and economic well-being of people living in relatively isolated and sparsely populated rural areas.  As you are well aware Statistical information is an important tool for understanding and quantifying the impact of political decisions in a specific territory or region. It intends to provide a detailed picture relating to a broad range of statistical topics across the regions of the country.

This mapping exercise and evaluation aims at collecting information on Statistical data availability and quality at municipal, regional and national levels in Georgia. It collects information from all main producers and providers/sources of statistical data.

Ministry of internally displaced persons from the occupied territories, labor, health and social affairs of Georgia is the important government institution in the country and we appreciate you for the assistance in completing attached mapping questionnaire with enclosed RESPONSE CODES and looking forward to receiving your reply by 29 January 2019. Please include in this questionnaire all available data gathered within your ministry (in-sourced and outsourced).
