On behalf of Mr Killion Munyama, I am writing to you to ask you whether the Delegation of Georgia could recommend us any organisation or authority in Georgia, which could be heard at an exchange of views during our committee meeting in Strasbourg in June on follow-up to Resolution 2214 (2018) on humanitarian needs and rights of internally displaced persons in Europe:

During the fact-finding visit of Mr Munyama to Georgia, the information provided by the EU Monitoring Mission in Georgia was particularly interesting regarding the situation of IDPs along the line of contact. Therefore, they might be a possible contact for such an exchange of views.
Mr Munyama proposes to hear a representative of each of the four countries where large numbers of IDPs can be found.
This exchange of views will also take account of the reply to Recommendation 2126 (2018) from the Committee of Minsters, which has emphasised the importance of enforcing the rights of IDPs:
