Dear Ms Barkalaia,
We would like to kindly ask for some help defining the indicators for the upcoming EU resilience programme, which will focus on economy recovery and health.
One of currently proposed indicators (this programme will include budget support, but these indicators are so far for the overall programme, so their achievement will not have direct financial implications) is below, and the question is,
if it can be checked/assessed – if the data would be available (and also the figures below, if they are correct). If yes, what could be the sources of information?
If the indicator is not possible to calculate/assess, maybe you could suggest else we could measure in the same direction (how to reformulate it or maybe some other indicator would be more feasible).
I am looking forward to hearing from you.
Kind regards,
Jurate
Indicator 2: What we have in the AD:
Support provided to business to mitigate the impact of containment measures and/or to foster sustainable and green economic recovery, including possible related structural reform steps.
What we could propose as Indicator:
Option 1:
Number of companies having preserved jobs which have received financial support from the GoG.
Further info: direct transfers, up to GEL150 per month—equal
to the income tax on the first GEL750 of the salary, on monthly salary below 1,500 GEL to companies supporting employment retention. The transfers would be effective for up to 6 months.
Specific Objective:
Supporting the businesses
Means/Activities:
Cash transfers
Indicator:
Estimated number of preserved jobs: over 300,000
Impact on Budget:
GEL250 million
