Dear Tamar and Tamila,

We hope this email finds you well and you had received yesterday the WB notification letter that the disbursement condition for category 2 of the project (social protection) has been fulfilled in light of the submitted evidence, i.e. adoption of the GoG resolution on the emergency benefits.

We recall that your expectation on the timeline to comply with the effectiveness condition would be around mid-May. Please kindly update us on when the Parliament is expected to ratify the LA, and subsequently when the Ministry of Justice is expected to issue the legal opinion (our project effectiveness condition).

Meanwhile, we recommend to initiate the process to open the

Designated Account with the National Bank of Georgia, Treasury Account of the Ministry of Finance and submit us the specimen signatures (a template is provided in annex 1 of the disbursement letter which I am attaching here again) so that you are ready to submit the reimbursement application for eligible expenditures for retroactive financing as soon as we declare the project effective (when the effectiveness condition is met).  

Our colleagues Damir Lelijak and Djanshid, copied to this email,  will assist you in this process.
