Dear Andrei,

please find attached job descriptions of the case managers and functional assessment specialists in Georgian.

In the context of our pilot, we selected 8-10 candidates per each type of position and allowed them to participate in the training, which is serving also as a filter to ultimately select the best candidates. Our pilot is planned until the end of this year. Please, note, that you might not be able to find candidates willing to dedicate full time for this position, as we cannot guarantee stable employment, thus you might have to select more people on part-time jobs. In our case, we will need 6 positions of case managers and 6 - of functional assessment specialist. 1 position for each per health facility.

As for the health facilities in Samtskhe-Javakheti, we are not in a position to send you the information. Nutsi, could you please, share this information with Andrei?

Best regards,
Keti

Dear Nutsi, Dear Colleagues,

Thank you very much for your comments. Please find attached our answers. We are mainly integrated all your comments and suggestions into the text of our methodology. If you agree on project methodology, we can sign the agreement with AFD and start to mobilise the experts. Other details we can fine-tune in the inception report which we are planning to draft after the April mission.

One of the main issue remains how to hire the functional assessment specialists in Samtskhe Javakheti region. This is the issue which we should discuss and assess during our mission in April. Because if we will employ the functional assessment specialists, we need to know what it represent in terms of number of specialists and budget. Furthermore, if these specialists will be employed only by the project, the issue of sustainability will arise. What will happens after the end of the project. For the time being we have foreseen in our budget 250 working days for Georgian specialists for this task and we clearly need to discuss together whether it is realistic.

Other additional question concerns minimum support package for people/children with disabilities:  can you please share with us the special « profile » for each beneficiary developed by you?

With kind regards,

Andrei

Dear Nutsi,

Please find attached the reviewed methodology for Pillar 1 disability assessment in line with your suggestions. Could you please approve it or give your suggestions. If you agree we can finalise the proposal and proceed with the contracting (it is more urgent now).

Furthermore, we have some additional questions after studying the materials you have sent to us (“2019 03 11 Questions”). We don’t need the answers on these questions before contracting, but we need them in order to prepare the detailed methodology of piloting in Samtskhe Javakheti region. Probably we can set another confocal in order to discuss these issues?

For the time being we foresee the first mission between 14 and 20 of April. We will work on proposal of working programme

With kind regards,

Andrei
