Dear Jurate,

Would be better if you could proceed with your proposed version of finding some options for translation.

Dear Lika,

One thing is sure – we can provide our feedback only to the English version of the document (as it will be sent for comments for quite a number of the colleagues in Brussels). And substantial changes of the document is exactly the reason we were asking for the second review, as this document with its elements is one of the conditions for macro-financial assistance and also linked to the Skills4Jobs programme.

Speaking of translation, we would prefer that it is done by your side, as it is your document and the interpretation of the text would be more correct.

We do not have the immediate resources for translation (e.g. EVET project has completed and the new one has not started yet), but we could look for options. However, the translation work would start from Monday-Tuesday at best case scenario, and would be completed by Wednesday for sure (for me it is difficult to assess the time needed for that). And only than we could start looking at it.

So let me know, which way we shall proceed.

Jurate

Dear Jurate,

I’m sorry to inform you that the version you received is quite different from the English and Georgian versions we had before because of changes in structure, objectives, indicators, etc.  That previous English version was done by ILO as it was the one assisting us in writing the document.

This time due to extremely tight schedule and deadlines approaching we are not able to translate the document.

Any ideas how we can deal with this issue?

Regards,

Lika

Dear Lika,

Thank you for the document. Unfortunately we cannot process it as it is in Georgian language. Therefore, we would appreciate receiving its English version (as it was the case during earlier consultations) this way also ensuring that the translation actually reflects the ideology of the document. And from that moment we will do our best to react as quickly as possible.

I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Best regards,

Jurate

Good morning, dear Jurate!

As promised attached please find the last version of LM strategy together with the logical framework (which will be the part of the strategy once agreed and finalized).

We would be grateful  if you could  send your feedback by Wednesday next week so that we review and submit it.

Many thanks,

Warm regards,

Lika
