Dear Mehjabeen,

Thank you for the introductions.

Dear Ms. Durrer,

It is a pleasure to meet you (virtually). Together with the Deputy Minister, Ms. Barkalaia, we will be traveling to CSW from 9th to 13th of March. Would lunch or dinner at any of these days be acceptable for you? We could meet at one of the lounges.

With kindest regards,

Lela Akiashvili

Subject: EPIC Meeting at CSW

Dear Ms. Durrer,

I understand you have recently been in touch with the Swiss Development Cooperation office in Georgia regarding an event in Georgia regarding the Equal Pay International Coalition. As you may recollect, you had met with the counterparts of the Georgian Government in Geneva last year, at the sidelines of the EPIC Regional Launch in March. Since then, we have been in discussions with the government counterparts in both Armenia and Georgia for the countries to join the coalition.

In Georgia, following our meeting last March, there have been some significant changes in the government leadership and there is a request to meet with you again to get further clarifications on the process and obligations. The government counterparts from Armenia have not met with you previously and would also like to have the opportunity to get some further information about the EPIC from you.

Therefore, if you are available, we would be very grateful if you could meet with the counterparts at the sidelines of the CSW 64 in New York. The delegations from both countries will be in New York on the week of the 9th. The meeting would be with:

Thanks,

Mehjabeen
