Dear Sopo,

 

WHO is convening a Global Consultation for the Global Report on Assistive Technology, to be held in Geneva on 22-23 August 2019 (preliminary agenda attached).

The consultation will bring academics, practitioners, policy makers, and assistive technology users together to guide the content development of the Global Report. Objectives of the Global Report include highlighting the current need, demand and supply of assistive technology, as well as outlining good practices for innovation and recommendations to improve access.

 

In connection with this, we would appreciate your assistance in getting the nomination of a representative from the Ministry with relevant expertise, to attend the event.

 

All travel-related expenses will be covered by WHO.
