The Ministry of IDPs, Labour, Health and Social Affairs of Georgia is in the process of reviewing draft Labour and Employment National Strategy (2019-2023) meaning that currently, ministry is waiting for comments from EU Delegation to Georgia, DG EMPLOYMENT and ETF (final, combined comments will be out by July 16).

 

As to the social partners, the Ministry communicated and consulted with social partners on the draft strategy and their comments/suggestions will be considered while revision of the draft.

 

The action plan is also being elaborated and consulted with stakeholders. It is foreseen to be adopted after the Strategy is approved by the Government of Georgia.

I will send you some comments to the strategy today, however, I still don’t have  feedback from DG EMPLOYMENT and ETF, i.e. Frederique and Ummuhan,  which are the key. As I will be out of office from tomorrow until the end of this week, I would suggest to contact them tomorrow or the day after and ask for their feedback directly.
