Dear Madam/Sir,
Following the “Save the Date” message that we sent a few weeks ago, we would be grateful if you could transmit the attached letters to the Ministries of your respective countries, in which we ask them to nominate their representatives at the Conference on “Supporting Youth Transitions to Work” that our Directorate General at the European Commission will hold in Kyiv on 28 November. We invite representatives of the Ministries in charge of employment policy, and of VET policy as well as representatives of public employment services.
The Conference will focus on the role of employment policies and institutions for youth transitions to work. By giving a large place to exchanging on implementation in practice, notably of the EU flagship “Youth Guarantee”, it aims at initiating a new dialogue with and between the six Eastern Partner countries in complement of existing activities for youth employment and employability under the panel “Education, Culture and Youth” of the EU Eastern Partnership.
