Dear Ana and Anano,

We have mentioned in the correspondence that you IOM is organizing the Regional Policy Dialogue for Ukraine, Moldova, Belarus and Georgia. 3 counterparts responsible structure for child right protection, MoI, GPO, national coordinator or a service provider are invited to participate.

All 4 countries are invited to give a 20 minute presentation on their national child protection systems, focusing on best practices and remaining gaps and challenges in relation to BID, guardianship system and services for child VOTs. 

The remaining part of the day will be based on an interactive discussion format where government officials, La Strada, as well as IOM and UNICEF will deliberate on necessary steps to draft a provisional SOP for the region to enhance cooperation and align child protection systems with international standards, focusing on issues such as guardianship, BID, etc. Participants are invited to share their experiences and discuss case studies. IOM will moderate the sessions.

As soon as we will have the confirmations of the 3 guests you can proceed booking the flight to Kiev (it is expected all participants at the RPD arrive on 9 October and leave or on 10 in the evening if there are late flight options or on October 11).

IOM Kiev is now waiting for the confirmation of the venue- the rooms will be booked in the same hotel for all delegations.
