We recalled that in this year’s Regional Forum on Sustainable Development, we had the honour to welcome a very eloquent speaker from Georgia in the side event on the gender pay gap. If we are not mistaken, it was the following person:

Dear Ekaterine,
Thank you for the very helpful exchange over the phone on our upcoming Beijing+25 Regional Review Meeting.
As explained, we wish to offer a speaking role to a government representative of Georgia in the session on agenda item 5: Closing the gender gaps: Effective economic and social policies in the UNECE region (29 October, 15:00-18:00, room XVIII, Palais des Nations).
The sub-session will be designed as an interactive discussion (of approximately 45min) with 5 panellists and a moderator. The specific focus of this panel will be on the gender pay gap and we would be very interested to learn more on Georgia’s national experience. We will soon be able to provide further information on the concrete outline of the session as well as the exact composition of the panel.
