Dear Deputy Minister

You may have been informed by Lika Klimiashvili, whom we called today, that it has not been possible to confirm an interview schedule for 4th December, because one of the two leading candidates for the position is not in Tbilisi this week. We are now consulting regarding a new date. Nika Kochishvili has informed me that she would be available on 10th December after 17.30 at the EUD. Otherwise she is probably available at various times on 11th.  I should be grateful if you would kindly let me know whether either of these dates suit you. I am also consulting the MoESD who will also be represented on the panel I am very sorry for the inconvenience.

Following an open call for applications for a long-term (local) Non-key Expert in the area of Skills Matching, and an evaluation of the CVs received from applicants, the two strongest candidates have been short-listed for interview.

I have been informed by the EU Delegation that the interviewing panel should include a representative of the MoIDPLHSA – either yourself or a person nominated to participate in the selection on your behalf. I understand that the dates/times for the interviews that will best suit the Delegation are the afternoon of 3rd December (after 14.00) and/or the afternoon of 4th December (after 15.30).

The interviewing panel will also include representatives of the EU Delegation, the MoESD and the project.

I should be grateful if you would kindly inform me as quickly as possible:

  1. whether you wish either to participate on the interview panel or prefer to delegate the responsibility to a nominated (named) representative;  and
  2. whether either or both of suggested dates/times would be convenient for the Ministry.   

For your information, I am attaching a copy of the terms of reference for the Non-Key expert position.

I shall send the CVs of the short-listed candidates and the report of the evaluation of the CVs of all applicants as soon as the arrangements for the interviews have been agreed, and I look forward to receiving your response on this matter.
