Dear Minister/Deputy Minister,

While the education and training systems around the world are facing various challenges due to COVID-19 pandemic, the ETF remains committed to continue its activities in the ETF Partner Countries at distance as far much as possible.

Some Webinars have already been organised by the ETF and other ones, on which the relevant national stakeholder institutions will be informed in due time, are being prepared for the coming weeks. The webinars are available here on ETF’s Open Space and YouTube channel.

We are using different on-line tools to organise meetings and events for expertise sharing. Based on our regular mapping of the COVID-19 impact since March on the education and training in our Partner Countries, we have identified some specific needs such as end of the school year assessment, teachers’ training, work based learning in digital reality etc. to be addressed by our activities. In particular, I would like to share with you the fifth edition of the ETF report Coping with COVID-19 of 20.05.2020 which is available on our website.

Given the current uncertainty we are reluctantly planning for the rest of the year on the assumption that no travel or face to face events will be possible.

Our commitment to supporting you is undiminished and we are at your disposal for any specific request.

The ETF Country Coordinators keep regular contact with your national institutions in charge of education, training and employment informing about the on-going and new support activities of the ETF.
