Following the UNHCR High Commissioner’s decision on my appointment to the Regional Bureau for East, Horn of Africa and Great Lakes, I will be leaving Georgia operation.
To say bye is always uneasy and even more difficult when bonds of collegiality and friendship including close attachment to the people and country like Georgia are very tight.
These three years have passed extremely fast, and been accompanied by various events and unforgettable movement, which will always stay in my heart as warm memories.
I would like to thank you all in letting me be part of your teams and also allowing to learn from each of you.
Allow me to wish you enjoyable continuous celebration of Merry Christmas as well as New Year, Easter and many many returns to you and beloved ones!! Let 2020 to bring more happiness, success, welfare and many many returns!!!
Please take a very good care and hope to see you coming to my new duty station Nairobi.
