Below, as promised, I would like to share information about few other side events that may be of interest for you:

 

On March 11, UN Women Georgia CO in partnership with the Georgian and Swedish Missions to the UN is organizing a presentation of a fairy tales’ book for girls’ empowerment “There once was a girl”, the event will take place on 16:45-18:00 in the ECOSOC Chamber, UN HQ, attached, please find the concept note of the event.

 

On March 12, Council of Europe and Finish Mission to UN side-event “Sexism, Harassment and Violence against Women in Parliament” – 11:30-12:45, Conference Room 1, UN HQ, meeting concept is attached;

 

On March 13, UN Women HQ’s side event “Social protection, public services and sustainable infrastructure: Policy coherence for the empowerment of women in informal employment” – 15:00-16:15, in Conference Room 11, UN HQ, concept note of the event is attached.

 

On March 14, UN Women HQ’s side event “Business innovation and investment in Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment” – 15:00-18:00, ECOSOC Chamber, UN HQ. Further informtation – draft agenda, speakers, etc. – is available at http://empowerwomen.org/2019wepsforum
