Assessment of hepatitis B seroprevalence in Ukraine. Complete hepatitis testing.


A) Objective: to complete anti-HBc Ab chemiluminescence testing and confirmatory HBsAg testing on serum samples from the population of Ukraine. A confirmatory HBsAg study will be conducted to confirm active infection in positive HBsAg samples. The results of the study will be presented to the World Health Organization.
C) Expected results: The project makes it possible to determine the prevalence of hepatitis B virus in a selected population group in Ukraine and the number of subjects carrying active hepatitis B infection.
