Strengthen and support HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care measures in Georgia A) Goal: To reduce the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Georgia through more active interventions targeting high-risk groups and significant improvements in HIV treatment. Target populations/beneficiaries: HIV/AIDS patients; Injecting drug users, as well as people who are potential injecting drug users, MSM and their female sexual partners, sex workers (including transgender sex workers), their clients and regular sexual partners, prisoners. B) Draft Implementation Path: Ensure resilience to a strong response to the epidemic by strengthening government commitment to Global Fund programs, optimizing the integration of prevention and treatment programs, creating a legislative framework and framework for action, changing the legislative and policy framework, and increasing the involvement of civil society. - Strengthen advocacy and coordination efforts in national responses; - Expand and improve the quality of HIV prevention measures for injecting drug users, MSM, sex workers, prisoners and high-risk adolescents; - Develop effective communication between HIV/AIDS prevention, treatment and care services to ensure timely diagnosis of infection cases and continuity of services; - support universal access to ARV therapy and improve treatment outcomes; - Provide adequate care and support services for HIV/AIDS patients through psychological, nutritional, and palliative care programs; - Strengthening health systems to implement effective responses to the HIV/AIDS epidemic.
